It does not make any sense that you can not get to version 2899. We just updated to this version to ensure there was nothing occurring with it, but the update went fine, and when we look in "Help >> About" it is properly showing version 2899. But, you should not specifically need version 2899. The Pre-Release (version 2901) should be fine as well. If you continue to have an issue with version 2901, then you need to talk to the developer of your study and work through the issues with them. If you really want to try to update to version 2899, then please select "Help >> Download Current Version". Perform the update, and then after the installation is completed, do NOT close that window - instead select the button in the top right for "Send Log to Support". Then, select the "Close" button to close the updater. If the version is NOT 2899 after the update is done, then let us know you sent the Installer Log so we can take a look at what version got installed.
