In general, to get two symbols displayed on the same chart, you would use the "Add Additional Symbol" study. But, since you want to invert the VIX, you would need to open a separate chart for the VIX and invert it on that chart. Refer to the following for the easiest way to invert a chart: Chart Settings: Invert Prices (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol Settings menu) Then you would use the "Study/Price Overlay" to get the VIX data to the ES chart. Refer to the following: Study/Price Overlay Study The only "trick" in this is that you will need to set the scaling for the "Study/Price Overlay" to be "Independent" since it has a very different scaling than the ES. Refer to the following: Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Independent (Scale Range) If you want to adjust the VIX display in the ES chart, the only way to do this would be to use the Left Side Scale. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Use Left Side Scale (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Scale menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
