Hello Support, hope you're doing well. I'm writing this to figure out if there are any updates coming for the Volume by Price indicator (drawing and/or study). I'd been messing around in the VbP settings trying to get mirrored volume profiles; when I discovered there's currently no way to do such a thing. From what I can see, it seems like it could be a relatively easy feature to implement as the profiles can be moved to the correct positions, just not with the correct orientations. 1.png: ideal mirrored-profile. If you look at the profiles under 'A' (marked in picture 2) you can see that: Left-Aligned Profiles always face right, and Right-Aligned Profiles always face left. Since there is already an Input to choose left/right alignment; all there needs to be is an Input to select which way the profile faces. There are definitely more ways that this issue can be approached, however this solution was the simplest I could come up with. Other users (like DonkeyEmporium: Draw Composite Volume Profile Tool - Mirrored Profile) have expressed their desires for such a feature from VbP Studies. And judging by the view count of that post; many people hope to see the same thing. I understand that implementing this is probably not as easy as I say, so I hope this reaches the people it needs to. In my opinion it's the small things like these that really make a trading platform feel good. Any information is appreciated. Thanks in advance. |
