all the duplicate and original charts change bar period.

i duplicated a chart but anytime i try to change the bar period, all the other charts change at the same time. I only want the charts in different different bar periods.

If the bar period for other charts are changing when you change the bar period in one chart, then that means one of two things: 1. You have the charts linked together for the bar period, such that when you change one it will change the others. This link carries over to a duplicated chart, so if you do not want it in the duplicated chart, you would need to specifically turn it off in that chart. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Linking 2. You have references between charts such that the bar period needs to be changed if it is changed in another chart. One of the few items that does this is the "Study/Price Overlay" if you set the option for "Full Synchronization of Source Chart to Destination".
