Hi, I'm set up on both denali and teton, and get MNQ feed data reliably including a live account with stage5 I can see in the Trade Window. However, I have two Apex/Rithmic eval prop sim accounts which I want to trade. Working: Global Settings > Data/Trading Service Settings > Main Settings > Current Selected Service = *Teton CME Routing* Not Working: I'm experiencing the predicted Login Permission Denied errors when I try and switch from that to Rithmic. I do not need assistance with this - I will go to Rithmic. Questions: How can I use Denali and Teton to trade Apex/Rithmic prop sim accounts? The Global Settings > Data/Trading Service Settings > Main Settings > Current Selected Service appears to be Teton OR Rithmic not both. Do I need a separate instance of SC connected to Teton in order to ensure my continued connection to my live account per SME regulations in order to prevent me forgetting to switch once a month? Thanks Mark |

To use both connections at the same time you need to install another installation of Sierra Chart. Refer to this page: Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time You do not need to connect once a month to your Teton order routing account. This is not necessary for market data requirements because the determination you have an account is already done in the background. Thanks for the response. I already read that page. So I read it again. But there is conflicting advice. From my question How can I use Denali and Teton to trade Apex/Rithmic prop sim accounts? The Global Settings > Data/Trading Service Settings > Main Settings > Current Selected Service appears to be Teton OR Rithmic not both.
If your answer To use both connections at the same time you need to install another installation of Sierra Chart answers this question, then I presume the link you sent is the guide. In the guide, it says, 'when using the Denali Exchange Data Feed from Sierra Chart, this data feed can be used on its own and is also integrated with all Trading services. Therefore, there is no need to use multiple copies of Sierra Chart running on your system in this case. You can use just one single copy. For additional information about this, refer to Integration with Trading Services.' Please can you clarify your advice. As Rithmic is one of the listed integrated Trading Services, that means I can use Denali data with Rithmic execution, but the doc does not say how I can configure SC to do this with two copies of SC logged into different data services. Because I want to use Denali/Teton to get data in, but then log into Rithmic in order to send orders out, I need 'multiple data and trading services'. But I'm unclear how SC#2 (presumably logged into Rithmic), will use the data from SC#1 (presumably logged into teton). Please clarify. If I use a DTC server/client model, then the doc on that points back to your referenced link on multiple copies of SC if the data and trading services are different. |
