Currently, Sierra Chart allows you to reset the Value Scale with a simple double-click. However, the Time Scale does not offer this functionality. This is a shame, as it is very intuitive. I often forget that it doesn't work and click on this axis, as I am so used to doing so in the TradingView environment. I know that I can also set up resetting via keyboard shortcuts, which is actually very effective. However, this requires remembering all these shortcuts, and I already use a lot of them 😆 Would it therefore be possible to implement resetting the Time Scale with a simple double-click? I think many users would appreciate this. Thank you. |

The Vertical Scale can be reset as there is a defined size and location that it can reset to. The horizontal scale does not have the same concept, so resetting it would require specific information on what you would want to reset it to, which is one of the reasons this has not already been done. We have noted this as a Feature Request. We can not say when we would be able to get to any particular request. -- Also, we want to make you aware of two new Keyboard Shortcuts for "Maximum Chart Bar Spacing" and "Minimum Chart Bar Spacing". Refer to the following setting and the one below it which set the respective values: General Settings Window: Maximum Chart Bar Spacing for Command For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you for your reply. That's very interesting. I thought that the default bar spacing value specified how the horizontal axis (Time Scale) should be reset. |
