Dear Sierra Chart Support Team, I have noticed that Spreadsheet windows must currently be detached from the main Sierra Chart window using Window >> Detach/Attach Window in order to remain persistently visible. When kept attached in the chartbook, they automatically hide when I click on a chart that sits underneath the SS window. This works well for some workflows, but in multi-chart or multi-monitor setups, it would be extremely valuable to have an option to keep the Spreadsheet window always visible and overlaid (or docked/floating in a non-intrusive way) directly on top of individual charts — even when the Spread Sheet window is part of the main workspace and not detached. Given the recent improvements to the user interface and graphics handling, I was wondering whether it might now be technically feasible to implement something along these lines — for example: A per-Spreadsheet-study input like “Keep Spreadsheet Window Always Visible on Chart” Or a global/Chartbook setting to make Spreadsheet windows behave more like floating, always-on-top overlays tied to their parent chart This would greatly streamline analysis and trading workflows where real-time Spreadsheet data needs to stay in view alongside the primary chart(s) without requiring full detachment and separate window management. Also, another interesting thing I would love to know is the following: Whenever the spreadsheet is attached to the main instance and I click on a window that seats underneath it (making the spreadsheet window "disappearing"). How can I retrieve it? Because even if I click on Window --> Windows and chartbooks, the spreadsheet window is just not present in the list... The only way (I found) is to minimise the window that sits underneath the SS window, moving the SS window, maximise the window again, moving the SS window back where it was. I don't know to other users, but this is extremely inefficient, time consuming and silly. I believe such an option would be a highly valuable addition for many users. Thank you very much for considering this suggestion — and thank you as always for the continued development and excellent trading platform. Best regards, Fabio |
