Provide us an image of the Numbers Bars Calculated Values study in its default state showing that particular Subgraph and the incorrect value.

Otherwise, these images are not helpful. Only that study must be on the chart and no others.

i understand. i have tried to troubleshoot and isolate the issue for more than an hour. i have not found it yet.

this is the simplest, most default chart setup i can provide (Numbers Bars has been reset to default settings): http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1414048120519.png

the TEXT study is relaying the Finish Volume parameter, and you can see in the attached screenshot that this value goes haywire at the very end (or very start?) of a bar (on every bar). this issue does not occur with other Numbers Bars values i have examined, just FinishAskBidVolDiff and Finish%

this wild value is not displayed in Numbers Bars output itself, just when called from another study.

thank you very much for your time.

We can see what the problem is, but we are not understanding why it is happening to begin with.

Nevertheless, we are able to patch it and we have done so. This will be solved in the next release.

What is the exact name of the study you are using to display the value on the chart.

the strange calculation for FinishAskBidVolDiff will display whether being represented with 'Text Display for Study' or with 'SierraChartStudies.scsf_PriceOverlay' hence the issue seems to be with the original calculation, not the study in which it is diplayed. again, it happens only upon the close (or possibly the open) of each bar. regards

The reason this occurs is because the value you are seeing has special meaning with the Numbers Bars Calculated Values study. If you are making reference to it from other studies, it is a problem.

Nevertheless, this should be solved in the latest prerelease.

Therefore, for the time being we are not going to be able to provide a solution to this.

Your configuration is unsupported.
