When I first installed this version 2866 or 2867 a day or two ago, replay worked, then stopped, meaning if I click pause and then play, or rewind then play nothing happens, no movement. I reinstalled the prior version 2863 and had no trouble at all. I tried updating to 2867 again tonight and again, replay worked for a moment but then pause or rewind breaks it. I've never had this problem with any prior version. I can't get it to work anymore. Even if I click stop and try to start over, it will not replay. I deleted and redownloaded data, it will not replay. Please resolve. Thank you.

We just tested these scenarios and we are not able to reproduce any issue with the replay. Please get us a chart (or charts) that shows this issue, as we hope we may be able to reproduce it with your chart. Follow these instructions to get us the chart: Support Board Posting Information: Providing Chartbook with Only a Single Chart Also, we need to know what settings you are using for the replay. Like we said we are not able to reproduce but we will think about why this might be happening related to the changes, with chart timers. How is this setting set in your case: General Settings Window: Use OS Timer for Charts (Global Settings >> General Settings >> General >> Update Intervals) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I can confirm this issue does not occur when using OS timers, but when I had it set to SC timers with the following settings, I experience the problems outlined above: Update rate: 10 Timer Management Enable: Yes Timer Management - Chart Calculation/Draw Time: 0.100000 Timer Management - Maximum Interval: 10 Minimum Delay Between Chart Updates: 5 Use OS Timer For Chart: No So, yes, it does appear to be related to SC timers. Thanks! |
