I currently use Teton Routing and Denali Data feed. I am soon will be using a Rithmic based prop firm (Lucid Trading) and it asks if I should translate the symbols. Would translating those symbols mean that both trade and data service will be using Rithmic? How do I ensure I am still using Denali Data for Data Service and Rithmic only for trading? |

You do need to change the symbols. Every trading service uses a different symbology, so you need to use the correct symbols for the service you are connected to. Sierra Chart is specifically setup to allow you to connect to your selected trading service and get data from either that trading service or from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. All of this is handled "behind the scenes", so as long as you are setup properly to get data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed, then that is where the data will come from. Otherwise, it will come from the connected trading service (if they offer data and if we support it).
