SC Engineering; John-SC Support

I started using OpenGL on AMD Radeon XT 7600 XT 16GB (having 2 GPU's)
I am delighted by performance (acceleration @ 30ms update int.)
Only problem I experience is "horizontal shifting of chart(s) by one bar to the left"; occurring all the time after some initial time of stability
Changing bar interval brings chart(s) to starting point; 3000t-->2000t-->3000t and everything is fine again for very brief period; also shifted chart(s) is very much workable

I suppose you are aware of this and just wanted to give some insight to SC

It would be perfect if SIERRA CHART decides to stick with developing/making OpenGL as perfect as everything else
Would it even be possible to run OpenGL on two GPU's (would love to apply OpenGL on more than one monitor); already tried on two and GPU handled it fine minus "shifting"
My superb monster trading machine is able to handle everything

I am reporting this in time when SIERRA CHART is doing awesome job making MDI take-over based on line you posted hoping it helps:

"This is a relatively new feature. The cause of the exceptions and instability and graphics display issues some users experience is being researched."

Noticed you already set MDI in TIME&SALES
Works perfect
MDI is superb to anything else-bravo for that !!!

I am on ver. 2863; have no problems at all
Thank you

No, this makes no sense:

Provide a chart image of what you are seeing (before and after). We are not understanding this. Instructions:

We do not see how this is related to OpenGL. Could not be. Although from our perspective from the screenshots it is not clear what the issue is.

We assume you understand the fill space on the right side of the chart? Make sure it is not locked:

Chart Menu: Lock Fill Space (Chart menu)

And then scroll to the end of the chart with Chart >> Goto End of Chart.

The right scale border shifted 1mm to the left, reducing the space available for the bars.
You can reduce the bar spacing by 1 or 2 unit and it will fix your problem.
You can do that using up/down arrows or PagegDown PagegUp.

Thank you for making me smile on Friday

"We do not see how this is related to OpenGL. Could not be"

When OpenGL is disabled-everything works to perfection !!!

Of course that I do have "Lock Fill Space" set to checked-that's the way I like it and will stay that way
Anyway no problem-will stop using OpenGL !!!
What a pity

Thanks a lot

@Sebastien
merci beaucoup

it is NOT that
The whole chart very frequently "jumps" to the left more than you could gain by adjusting spacing (my bar width is at 36)
It is 100% OpenGL that has those hiccups

Appreciate your effort very much

Avec plaisir.

Just to make sure we are talking about the same thing... I'm not talking about the Candlestick Width (Graphic Settings => Other).
This setting is irrelevant.
I'm talking about the bar spacing.
In your case, the bar spacing is 120 (it is written at the bottom right corner of your chart).

Have you tried to set the bar spacing to 119 or 118 ?

If it doesn't fix your problem, I don't know how to help you further.

@Sébastien
Got you right
was trying to tell you that move left is bar wide; and I am also talking about second chart I am having with bar width of 36 that also goes left 👈
I was trying very simple logic
it was 120LE
now I am trying without Locked
No big deal but surly that price line was dancing with OpenGL
Enjoy your weekend
