Hi, How do I enforce a minimum width for the Number bar columns, so the text is always clearly visible without getting cut-off, when the chart window gets zoomed in and out? Pls have a look at the attached example, of Number bar column 1 ( Bid Vol x Ask Vol). Its the same chart/footprint column values, in both the screenshots, but one them with column values cut-off when I zoom-out and the other clearly showing both bid/ask column values in full , when I zoom out with mouse-scroll. The text font does not change in both cases[Font size mode:Automatic with Minimum/Maximum Limits, Minimum & Maximum font size for Automatic Font size=6). Basically I'd like the column values, fully displayed always, whether that be to automatically shrink the text size to fit within the column width..or lock the horizontal zoom(bar spacing) manually. pls advise, thanks |

If you want the font to change size when changing the bar spacing, then in the Numbers Bars study you need to set the input for "Font Size Mode" to "Automatic" and you need to set the inputs for "Minimum/Maximum Font Size for Automatic Font Size" to different sizes. The choice of size depends on what you want to see - you will have to try different settings to see what will work best for you. Having both of these items set to the same value means that the font will always be the same, in which case the text can get cut off depending on the bar spacing. Thanks, that doesnt seem to fully address the issue , as its still getting cut off beyond a point. Is there not a way to either set a minimum width for the Number bar column ? Also, is there a way to lock the horizontal zoom(bar spacing), once I have the desired width/spacing?. The interactive scaling locks only the vertical scaling of the price axis. Also , being able to use large integer formatting, once the number values exceed 1000, which is another enhancement request I had made, would really help in this scenario. Thanks |

There is not a way to set a Minimum Width for the Numbers bars, nor is there a way to lock the Bar Spacing so it does not change once you have it the way you want it.

Can these capabilities be added in the near future ? Both seem useful features. Thanks |

We have noted the feature request, but we can not say when we would get to any particular request.
