I am a current subscriber using Sierra Chart with the SC Data service. I am interested in conducting historical intraday analysis and replay for the MNQ (Micro E-Mini Nasdaq 100) futures contract. Currently the earliest intraday data available for MNQ on my charts begins around December 2025, which limits my ability to backtest and analyze older price behavior. I would like to know: 1. What data subscriptions or services are available that would provide deeper historical intraday data for MNQ (e.g., multiple years of ticks or 1-minute bars)? 2. What are the pricing options for these data packages? 3. Are there any limitations or requirements I should be aware of before purchasing additional data (e.g., exchange permissions, fees, rollover handling, licensing)? 4. If extended MNQ intraday history is not available, are there alternative services or recommended approaches to obtain deeper history (e.g., through Sierra Chart continuous contracts, third-party historical data services, or a different feed)? For reference, my current setup includes Sierra Chart version 2859 with SC Data – All Services. Thank you for your help and clarification. Best regards, |

Enable continuous contract: Continuous Futures Contract Charts: Continuous Futures Contract Rollover Options You can load tick data back to when Micro NQ was introduced (some time in 2019), further back you would have to use NQ instead. Or you can load earlier contracts directly, but continuous contract is easier. |

Hello Sierra Chart Support, I am writing because I cannot access historical intraday data beyond December 2025, despite having purchased your MBO data subscription (the premium tier at approximately $50) and also having a Rithmic CME data subscription through AMP Futures. My goal: I want to use Chart Replay to backtest on 1-minute MNQ data going back to at least January 2025, ideally further back to 2019 when MNQ was introduced. What I have tried based on your documentation: 1. Connected to Rithmic Direct - DTC through AMP (server: Rithmic 01 - Chicago Area Non-Aggregated) 2. Increased “Maximum Historical Intraday Days to Download” to 20,000 for both Non-Tick Data and 1-Tick Data in Common Settings 3. Opened MNQ?##-CME as a continuous contract symbol 4. Set Continuous Contract to “Continuous Futures Contract - Date Rule Rollover, Back Adjusted” in Chart Settings 5. Restarted Sierra Chart multiple times and allowed data to download 6. Tried rollover options when prompted 7. Tried clearing data and re-downloading Result: No matter what I try, when I open Chart Replay and attempt to go back to January 1, 2025, the earliest available data is still only from December 2025 - less than one month of history. I am paying for two data subscriptions and cannot access even one month of historical intraday data for backtesting purposes. Please provide clear step-by-step instructions for how to access historical 1-minute MNQ data going back at least one year using my current subscriptions. If this is not possible with my current setup, please explain what additional steps or subscriptions are required. Thank you for your assistance. |
