Hello.
Trading on price ladder/DOM:
1. My OCO order is: Limit order with an "emergency" stop 10 ticks away (as use attached order)
2. mouse: Left click for order limit, Right click for stop orders

once OCO order is active, what I am trying to do is enter a stop order (not a limit stop) as price moves against me by manually clicking on whatever price i'm trying to execute prior to hitting my 10tick stop from the OCO.
a. is there a way to do this without unchecking the "use attached order" box first?
b. if so, can the "emergency" stop be automatically cancelled once the manual stop is entered?
c. if not, is there away to set an OCO order in combination for the above? I want my second stop to be entered manually at a market stop (not a limit stop) at which point it will cancel the initial OCO "emergency" stop at the initiation of the position.

Thx

There is not a built-in way to have the "emergency" stop that you want place to automatically cancel the attached orders that are part of the main order. The reason for this is that you are creating a completely separate Stop order and if it were part of the attached orders for the main order, would create an imbalance in the quantities, so it must be a completely separate order.

The only way to do what you are wanting would be to have a custom study that would monitor the orders and cancel things as you want them. Refer to the following:

once I put in an OCO order but also want to put in an order that is not an OCO. how can I do that without first unchecking the "use attached order" box in the trading window? Because as of now any new orders continues to use the OCO parameters.

You do need to uncheck the "Use Attached Orders" option to put in another order that does not have attached orders associated with it.

There are Control Bar and Keyboard Shortcut options to toggle the state of "Use Attached Orders". You can also setup Trade Configurations that would setup the order as you want it without Attached Orders - you can also setup Control Bar and Keyboard Shortcuts to select a Trade Configuration.
