Hello Chart values tool behavior is not normal in v2821. The image shows the chart after moving the cursor left to right with the tool enabled. Not quite as important but the context menu for chart tabs does not appear to work either. Reverted to 2813 for now. |

Not sure how we would reproduce that. We have never seen anything like this. We cannot reproduce. We will look into this: Not quite as important but the context menu for chart tabs does not appear to work either. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. We understand this occurs when using OpenGL. We will implement a solution to this. Although we do not know why this is actually happening but we have determined a workaround for it.

Yes, sorry, should've mentioned that it was with OpenGL enabled.

Yes, great, chart value tool behaves again. A couple of other comments/requests. - Is it possible to include the Duplicate Chart and Duplicate Chart to Chartbook commands in the chart tab context menu, as they were in earlier version? - Maybe we can get an option to control the border width for the new MDI style windows, it would be nice be able to reduce the width? Thanks for your consideration. |

I have noticed a similar graphical bug although this one still persists in version 2822. I have noticed that when I have the chart value/ crosshair tool selected and then move this over the chart window title bar many lines are drawn on the title bar. This only seems to occur after left clicking to get the chart values and then disappears after left clicking again. I am using OpenGL and have tried changing the windows title bar colors and have continued to experience the same thing.

We cannot do this because the border width is managed by the operating system. We do not have control over it. Other than the color. If we try to take over the border completely, then we have to do the scrollbar. So we have to create our own scrollbar. That is quite involved. We have other priorities.Integrated scrollbars, and menus are two things the operating system does reasonably well and we would rather not touch them. We previously implemented a solution to a problem like this: I have noticed a similar graphical bug although this one still persists in version 2822. I have noticed that when I have the chart value/ crosshair tool selected and then move this over the chart window title bar many lines are drawn on the title bar. I am using OpenGL and have tried changing the windows title bar colors and have continued to experience the same thing. However, it then creates that the problem described in the first post. At this point, we are not sure what the solution is.

Reviewing the issue in post #7 more, we are able to implement a solution to this. This will be out in the next release.
