Not to rant but I'm gonna rant. I don't get why the interface for settings changed, its uglier and harder to visually find settings. The legacy style was better to understand, you knew what was clickable, recognized drop lists, text fields were obvious etc. The current one just shows you a black background with lines and white text, like I'm supposed I'm playing an Atari game.
Please bring back the classic settings style again.

I attached an image of what I'm referring to below

Regarding Chart Settings, refer to:
Settings Windows Interface: New Chart Settings Window

This is taken as a compliment ( in the sense, that the interface is clean and efficient):
its uglier
And actually, all of the colors and other appearance attributes are all very configurable. It is impressive what you can do with them. Whereas Microsoft, is locking you into just one simple plain interface. So the new Settings Windows are really the exact opposite of what you are saying. They really should become a standard for operating systems.

And this really factually is untrue being there is search functionality:
and harder to visually find settings

Refer to:
Settings Windows Interface: Searching for Specific Settings

Regarding drawing tool configuration/properties windows, those are still undergoing some development. There is some incremental improvements being made with those.

We will update the Line Style list box in the new Drawing Tool Configuration/Properties window, to show the graphical line styles as previously.

And we did already add the ability, to display the quick configuration buttons on the right side. It is controlled with this option:
Global Settings >> Tool Settings >> General >> Show Quick Configuration Load Buttons as Permanent Buttons: Yes
