Hi, I'm new to Sierra Chart, & I'm using the trial package,

1) are there any chart Templates available anywhere on this site, specifically Numbers Bar Chart's templates, where one can use it as a basis for personal customization (the same as available on other trading/charting platforms)

2) is it possible to create a Numbers Bar Chart template for Forex/Currencies pairs. (I've tried, but could not get anything significant by following the instructions, nothing looks like your examples) if the answer is yes, what are the specific settings, & please do not refer me to a link which doesn't have a specific solution, I've already spent hours wasting my time on nothing,

3) is it possible to have the footprint chart setup with a type of COT=Commitment Of Traders type of colored number(s) at the head or foot of the individual bars, which is basically an indicator for the strength/weakness of the short term trend, since there is no volume info in Forex, is it possible to use an algorithm which would take into account the bid ask variables or anything else?

so far I like what I see, but am getting frustrated by the lack of templates, & specific instructions links in the search application & there are no video tutorials

Thanking you in advance

1. No. Not really sure what purpose this would serve. You simply add the Numbers Bars study to the chart and set the study Input settings as you require. Being this question is asked, something is not working correct for you for a reason which we do not know. This is why we need to see a chart of what you are seeing.

Even if we did provide an example Chartbook, there could be a scaling problem which would prevent the Numbers Bars from displaying properly anyway. So in the end, it would not necessarily give the benefit that you may think. Actually it would only create more of a support burden upon us to do that.

2. Yes. Nothing special to do. Add the Numbers Bars study to the chart and post an image of what you see by following these instructions:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#Image

If the chart does not look correct, it simply is a scaling issue. We need to see an image of the chart so we can tell you what the problem is and what to do.

3. This is supported. The name of the Input Setting for this is Show Historical Pullback/COT AskVolume BidVolume Difference

Here is the documentation for how to use that:

thx for your prompt response, I've attached my chart image http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1413468072371.png
my questions are:
1)what parameters should I use/change in the settings where I use Forex/currencies data to populate the Foot-Print/Numbers Bar chart? since in forex there is no volume info available, what variables/data can I use instead of the volume? even the COT input refers to volume, is there anything else available to replace the volume requirements in order to be able to use the COT feature?
2)is there anything that could be used to show some kind of Order Flow on the Bars with real orders & on each side of the bid ask?
3) When I try to use any additional studies/analysis by inserting it into this chart, all the bars become compressed vertically, How do I extend them vertically?

Thx in advance for your kind support

1. Do not use a data recording suffix like -BIDASK for the symbol with Numbers Bars charts. This will not work properly.

2. For information about volume for Forex, refer to:
Sierra Chart Real Time and Historical Forex and CFD Data Service: Volume Data for Forex and CFD Markets

3. What you need to do is set the Scale Range for those studies to Same As Region:

Here is a study collection that is close to what you want but not 100%.
Save the attached file to Data folder in your Sierra Chart folder.
Then restart your Sierra and you will find a "Numbers Bars" study collection when you click on the Analysis Tab at the top menu. Choose it and you should see the configuration on your chart. your image shows a 3m chart.

The text coloring is based on diagonal comparison of the trades at the ask and the bid.
This is documented here:
