I am using the SPX500 Instrument so that I can see overnight price movement however I use Options Data based on what would be the SPX_CGI Instrument, although they are really the same asset, SPX500 prints approxiamtely 6 pts higher than SPX_CGI does at any time. To align with the Options Data I use whilst trading futures, I wanted to adjust the SPX500 Instrument price on my Chart by those 6 pts. Is there a way to do that within Sierra Chart? |

You can add an additional study to the chart to perform this calculation: Using the Basic Arithmetic Studies Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I used the Subgraph Subtract study as I am wanting to subtract from the SPX500 instrument but from what I can see the only output is a Line. Is it possible to do this so that the candlesticks are displayed after the subtraction?

You would need to use the "Spreadsheet Formula - Bar" and enter the formula you need for each item in the bar. In general, this would be formulas like the following for the Open: =O - 6 Refer to the following: Spreadsheet Formula (Bar) Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: Available Main Price Graph Identifiers/Variables For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
