Hi, I wanted to know if there's an option to lock the platform until a certain time. For example, I don't want to trade until a certain time, but if I open the platform, I can't stay still. I'd like to know if I can tell Sierra not to enter market orders before a certain time. Thanks.

There is not a specific built-in method to do this. And any other option is not perfect, they all have ways around them, such as creating a Custom Study, as you can always delete the study. Keep in mind that if you use the Spreadsheet System for Trading, or one of the built-in trading studies (such as the "Trading System Based on Alert Condition") then those have the ability to set times between which you can trade and outside of which you can not. OK, but is there a studio (even if it can be circumvented) that allows me to decide the time? In the sense that, for example, having set this studio in the DOM, where I usually place orders, Sierra physically won't let me place them except AFTER that specific time? Thanks.

I don't know of anything that will prevent entering orders - but it sounds like you might be better off not even opening sierra in the first place. Check out these productivity tools: https://getcoldturkey.com/compare/ There are a couple different programs, but the main idea is the same: You create a list of applications you want access to, and it blocks literally everything else from opening for a set amount of time (micromanager) or on a set schedule (blocker).
