Chart Settings - Use Evening Session resets when changing data feed

Hello. I have noticed that my TPO charts, which have "Use Evening Session" in Chart Settings turned off, will automatically turn this setting back "ON" when I change data feeds/order routing and translate symbols from (for example) Sierra Chart/AMP Futures Denali to a Rithmic prop shop. Technically speaking Denali should always be the data feed so is it more specifically happening when the symbols are being translated? It doesn't happen when I change between Rithimic Prop shops (i.e Apex vs. PropShopTrader...). Is there a setting to maintain this setting fixed when changing data feeds? Thank you for your time. |

Any time the symbol is changed, the symbol settings are updated for that symbol, which means a lot of the Chart Settings are changed due to the change in symbol. Here are two suggestions we have for you: 1. Use different installations of Sierra Chart to connect to different services. This way you will not be changing the symbol, as you are not changing services. You can have an unlimited number of Sierra Chart installations on a single computer, but the exchanges limit the data to a total of 3 installations at the same time (this does not include instances started with "File >> New Instance"). Refer to the following: Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time: Step-By-Step Instructions to Install Multiple Copies of Sierra Chart Denali Exchange Data Feed: Denali Exchange Data Feed Connections on Same Computer Simultaneously 2. Update the Symbol Settings for each of the different services. You will have to edit the symbols for each service when you are connected to that service. Set the Session Times how you want them to be, this way any time that symbol is loaded, it will have the session times as you want them.
