You can close the Message Log at any time, just click the close button (x) in the upper right corner, or select "Close" button at the top of the window. If the Message Log is automatically opening, then this indicates there is an important message in the log. We recommend determining what is causing the log to open. There is an option to force the log to not open automatically, but we do not recommend it, as there is some reason it is opening. Refer to the following: General Settings Window: Never Automatically Open Message Log or Trade Service Log (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Log >> Log) There is also a control for what messages are displayed in the Message Log.
