Would it be possible to have settlement prices update sooner than they are for contracts HE Lean Hogs (and probably LE Live Cattle and GF Feeder Cattle)? Settlement prices are up for these contracts a few hours after the close on Barchart but for SC the settles post the next morning, except on Fridays when the settles don't post to SC until Monday morning. And of course the settlement prices affect EOD based indicators. Thank you. |

No success. I've made the changes. No settlement prices on LEAN HOGS symbol HE @ 14:10 CT. Barchart has them. Made the changes, closed SC and restart and reopen a chart and the price flashes to the settlement and quickly reverts to the last traded and stays that way until the open tomorrow morning. The existing data download time was already set at 17:45 Chicago CT. |

Just to clarify I am looking at Historical Daily chart and understand that while the market is open historical chart displays Last Traded and so matches intraday charts. After Close Historical Daily is supposed to show Settlement price when they are released by exchange and so does not match intrady then. On my application HE does not show settlemnt price on historical daily until the following morning. I just finished reading help topics 12: 3, 4 and 10. YM updates when it should to settlement. |
