Hello, I scrolled through many articles both in the sierra chart's guide and in the support boad, but couldn't find anything specific that would answer my question. I have both an active IBKR account where I do the majority of my stocks investments, and an AMP futures account. In order to have access to the CME non professional data feed costs (in order to use Sierra Chart with the denali data feed), would IBKR or AMP be enough? I saw on other threads here on the website that it should be enough (AMP) but couldn't find anything about IBKR. If they can be ok to have access to CME fees, what do I need to do? Just input the account number here on Sierra Chart when I subscribe to the data? Thank you in advance. |

In order to qualify for the Non-Professional rates for the CME Group, you need to have a live, funded, futures trading account. And you need to connect your Sierra Chart software to that account at least once a month for verification. Therefore, any futures trading broker with which Sierra Chart works, will satisfy this requirement. Therefore, both AMP and Interactive Brokers could be used to satisfy this requirement. Even though you may not have a Futures specific account with Interactive Brokers, it will still work, as you could be trading futures. As noted above, you need to connect your Sierra Chart software to that live account at least once a month for verification. Refer to the following: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees To setup our Denali Exchange Data Feed for the CME Group, follow these instructions: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges* For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

So, just to have a confirmation, in order to use IBKR, I'll need to follow the guide here on the website to connect Sierra with IBKR, correct? And for AMP, I need to check with them on how to setup AMP to work with Sierra. Correct? |

Correct. The instructions are here: Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Setup Instructions And for AMP, I need to check with them on how to setup AMP to work with Sierra. Correct?
You need to let us know what order routing service you are using with AMP. We can then point you to the proper instructions. -- If you are going to want to use Sierra Chart to trade with both Interactive Brokers and AMP, then you will want to have two separate installations of Sierra Chart, one for each broker. Refer to the following: Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time: Step-By-Step Instructions to Install Multiple Copies of Sierra Chart For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Ok, so I setup IBKR to work with Sierra Chart, following the guide you kindly linked to me. I subscribed the CME non professional data, and activated it on my Sierra Chart. Everything's seems to work fine. By doing so, even if in the "data/trade service settings" I choose Interactive brokers in the server list, I am using your Denali Data Feed correct? Another question, I am currently using the APEX prop firm, connected regularly to my Sierra Chart, I followed the guide to setup rhitmic with sierra and everything works fine, but if I wanted to keep Sierra connected to the denali data, while trading APEX, is it possible or I must use Rhitmic and the data from there? Thank you in advance, hope everything's clear, english is not my main language so I hope it is understandable. |

It seems that you've connected to IBKR just to qualify and not to trade right? So in this case you can use the "SC data" connection and connect once a month to IBKR to prove your non-pro status. If you want to trade your Apex account you'ce to change the connection to change the connection to "Rithmic Direct - DTC (trading) and enter the correct server and your Trading Username and Trading Password from Apex. If the connection window is open, click "Common Settings" and there under "Common Other Settings" set Allow Support Sierra Chart Data Feed to YES and it should work. |

What User135243 states is correct. Let us know if you are wanting to trade both your Interactive Brokers and Apex accounts simultaneously. In this case you would want to have two different Siera Chart installations. With regards to the data, Sierra Chart is setup to look to get the data from us first, and then will look to the connected trading service if you are not setup for the specific data. So having the setup with the connection to IB or Rithmic means you are trading with them, but whatever data you are setup to get from us will come from us. Refer to the following: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Integration with Trading Services For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
