Trade Activity window is unable to show Ticks (T) when 'All Symbols' is selected - impacts columns 'Net P/L', 'Running P/L', 'Total Profit', 'Total Loss', etc. It only shows the Currency Value format (C).

The issue persists even for different expirations of the same futures chain (eg. ZNU25_FUT_CME & ZNZ25_FUT_CME), where the global symbol definition should be the same.

As soon as I select only one symbol from the list, the issue is resolved (ticks are shown).

Is there a reason why this doesn't work for multiple symbols at once?

I assume you're referring me to this part: 'When the selected symbol in the Symbol list on the Trade Activity Log is set to All Symbols, then the Profit/Loss Format is automatically implied to be Currency Value and therefore this setting does not have any effect on the Profit/Loss values displayed.'

Can you clarify why this restriction applies even when the instruments have the same global symbol settings (for example, different expirations of the same futures contract)?

Are there any possible workarounds or settings that would allow displaying results in Ticks across multiple symbols?

We will add this to the documentation:
The reason that Currency Value has to be used is because this is a common unit across symbols. In the case of when there are different symbols, even if they happen to be for the same futures market because there is not any determination internally of that, it is just simply mathematically wrong to be summing together Point or other type of values. They simply are different units because they represent a different unit of price since the Tick Sizes for each symbol are different.

No there is no workaround. And we are not going to undertake the effort to make a determination, that the same underlying symbol is being used. The only thing that you can do, is to export the data into a spreadsheet, and then work with the data there.

Actually we did think of a solution.

A solution to the above issue and allow any Profit/loss Display format when you only need to load symbols for the same underlying futures market, is to select a specific symbol instead of All Symbols in the Display Settings and then on the Trade Activity Log window enable "Edit >> Load Fills for Multiple Futures Contracts".
