Greetings, I would like your help in transposing a High/Low for Time Period Range calculated on a chart onto another higher timeframe chart. More specifically, I would like to transpose the High/Low range between 9:30 AM and 12:00 AM, which is calculated on a 15 minute timeframe chart, to a 1 hour timeframe chart. To that end, I tried to use the Study/Price Overlay study in order to overlay the 15 minute timeframe to the 1 hour chart and use it for the High/Low Time Period Range calculation. I've tried a few times, but I can't seem to get the 9:30 AM to 12:00 AM High/Low range properly transposed onto the 1 hour chart; please find attached the result I obtain and the studies' respective configurations. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, |

We do not see any reason to have different values, given how this works. Please get us a Chartbook that has those two charts in it so we can take a look. Follow the instructions at the following link, only get us 2 charts instead of 1: Support Board Posting Information: Providing Chartbook with Only a Single Chart For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

In these charts, the Study/Price Overlay is hidden and each chart has its own "High/Low for Time Period". Please setup the Study/Price Overlay by following the information at the following link: Study/Price Overlay Study If you can not get this to work properly, then let us know what is occurring and what is wrong. Apologies; this is hopefully a proper configuration of the charts.

The chartbook from post #5 has an overlay of the Main Price Graph and not the "High/Low for Time Period". We have setup this chartbook as we believe you are wanting it. Please take a look at how this is setup to understand how this works. Refer to the following for how to use this Chartbook: Chartbooks (Workspaces): Using a Chartbook Provided by Sierra Chart Support For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
