NUMBERS BAR- discrepancies

There are "light" discrepancies in values of "Delta Day Cumulative"; "Cumulative Vol -Day" when you compare charts with identical settings for NUMBERS BARS
My understanding is -it is supposed to be the same with no regard what I am using in each of those charts (diff. tick numbers or volume although discrepancies are there with the same bar unit)

Let me simplify:

Two IDENTICAL charts with NUMBERS BAR and its calculated values (could be in the same instance or in my case 7 instances) showing slightly different values (~100-200 diff.)

Wondering is this supposed to be as is or I am stupid again
(update intervals are at 100ms well into limits of my deadly powerful pc and internet connection)

Please your thoughts about this

Thank you

If you are seeing values that are different, then these charts are not exactly the same. There is something different about them that is causing a difference in the data. It could be something like the Session Times, or the option for "New Bar at Session Start", but most of the Chart Settings can affect how the data shows in a chart, not to mention the studies themselves and how they are setup.

You should not have to redownload the data every day. If this is occurring, then there is something else going on with your setup that is causing an issue with missing data.

For instance, if you have two separate installations on separate computers, and you are not setup to get data to two systems simultaneously (which you are not), then only one system will get the data.

...one pc; one data feed; 7 monitors; 7 instances
...deleting/downloading takes less than a minute-wouldn't complain or bring that out even if I have to do that every hour
...
...sorry to use this thread for diff. point that needs my understanding:
...just need your confirmation about this:
In Quote Board at certain point of time I noticed (NASDAQ futures) that NUMBER OF TRADES > VOLUME (almost got heart attack because of utmost confidence in DENALI feed)
Reason for seeing that MUST be the way CME reports trades !!!
...be so kind and confirm or correct my thinking
...
...
...my apology to question quality of your software but I came from "TRADESTATION" and over there I met real horror of software/data and customer support
...you responding to my post in a matter of minutes is making my head explode
...thatnk you very much for everything

You say you have 7 instances. Are any of these separate installations of Sierra Chart? As you can only have 3 different installations on a single computer receiving data simultaneously. Refer to the following:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: Denali Exchange Data Feed Connections on Same Computer Simultaneously

If you are using sub-instances, started with File >> New Instance, then the above does not apply and you are fine.

We do see this, and we also checked MNQ and ES and see the same thing. But if we actually add up the number of trades for the trading day using the "Cumulative Sum of Study", it gives a reasonable value.

The Volume is definitely correct.

We have asked Engineering about this, so we will respond on this particular item when we hear back.

Although, do refer to the information for the Quote Board "Number of Trades" at the following link, which gives some information related to what might be occurring:

no worries: 7 instances 1 installation (all perfect)
...
about Volume/Number of Trades: GPT-5 introducing term "CME MESSAGE COUNT" as a "Number of Trades" and I am still working to get it right; again no need to bother Engineering Team about this

thank you very much
all good

We did hear back from Engineering, and this item is not something that the CME Group updates with each trading day. But, we can make it so that each trading week is reset, so this would be the number of trades since the Open on Sunday evening at 17:00 Central US time.

We are not sure what you are doing with "CME MESSAGE COUNT", but a simple way to get the # of Trades for the trading day is to use the "Cumulative Sum of Study", which allows you to reset the summation with each trading day. You can set this to sum the # of trades from the Main Price Graph data. Refer to the following:
Cumulative Sum of Study
