The newer versions of Sierra Chart use a new library from Rithmic which does not support Windows XP. So you will need to go back to a prior version. We recommend going back to version 1185 earlier:

I had the same problem connecting with Rithmic. I went back to 1187 and everything is fine. I guess I have to upgrade to W7 for later SC versions to work.

SC Support.

What was the reason for the changes:
1) new API?
2) new functionality (server side OCO, bracket)?
3) something else?

4) is there any issue to use the old bridge with a newest SC version?

5) is there any plans for the linux Rithmic bridge next year?

ps: there is a feedback that the new bridge crashes on Linux/Wine.
Not good. This is why we keep asking Rithmic for a direct connection method.
