KEZ25 volume based back-adjusted continuous chart has a gap on rollover

Based on a recent support thread where you fixed ZC with a similar issue, I'm pretty certain it is KE's default Symbol Settings > Rollover Method that's causing this.

------------------

Also a question about what Rollover Method is:
For volume based rollover continuous charts, is the Rollover Method a fallback condition that triggers the roll if the next contract's volume does not surpass the previous contract's volume in time?

We are not seeing an issue with this, so we do not think this is related to the other thread. Attached is an image of what we see for the Daily Historical data for KE.

We did initially see an issue with the Intraday data, where it was not lining up correctly, but we redownloaded the data and it was correct after that.

Therefore, please redownload the data by following these instructions and let us know if the problem is not corrected:

There's no attachment.
I'm redownloading all data for all my charts now for another reason, so I will compare when that's done

Yes and no. The Rollover Method is the date-based rollover. So if you are not using a Volume Based rollover, then the date-based rollover condition is used. Should the volume not be exceeded by the time set in that date-based condition, then the contract will rollover due to the date-based condition.

Every time I start sierrachart most of my symbols are redownloading Historical Daily Data with many log entries like this:

2025-08-25 20:19:49.340 | Triggering next historical data download in queue.
2025-08-25 20:19:49.340 | Mapping ZMZ15 to ZMZ15. Service code: cbot
2025-08-25 20:19:49.341 | HD Request # 1518 | Downloading Historical Daily chart data for ZMZ15. Starting date: 1916-01-25. Service: tradingevaluator_delayed.dtctrading
2025-08-25 20:19:49.783 | HD Request # 1518 | Error downloading historical Daily data for ZMZ15. Max downloads per month exceeded. Downloads = 5017. Monthly Limit: 5000
2025-08-25 20:19:49.783 | HD Request # 1518 | Received 0 Daily data records from 00:00:00 to 00:00:00 (0.0 seconds) and wrote 0 records for ZMZ15
2025-08-25 20:19:49.783 | HD Request # 1518 | Completion time: 0s.
2025-08-25 20:19:49.783 | HD Request # 1518 | Daily data download complete for ZMZ15. Unique request ID: 1613
2025-08-25 20:19:49.783 | Removing historical data download ID 1613.

Is this normal? Starting up sierra is extremely slow and I don't get why it needs to keep redownloading this data on each startup.

I now see the error line in the log message above but I still have no idea how or why I exceeded 5000 downloads.

I now have gaps in many of my charts that I didn't see before. I assume the issues are related. My data downloads error, and cause faulty data.
