We meant to follow-up in this thread. The actual starting date of a historical daily download is not relevant. Once again we are reaffirming: totally irrelevant and a complete non-issue. It has no impact at all on anything:
It should not be requesting data, I think we are agreeing there. However, there should not be any historical data download requests, for expired futures contracts if the data has already been downloaded. This is the issue and this is what we meant to follow up with. But this is fully unrelated, to the starting date of the download. Completely unrelated. We want you to attach to this thread that MCL chart. They are not real requests, fine.
