Some MBT historical tick data seems to be missing. I've rolled to the current contract (MBTQ25), del'd and dl'd new data and the rest of the day (Friday) is still missing.

Still sitting on incomplete MBTQ25 data and I really need access for this weekend.

Thanks!

I have followed those instructions several times. The data after 10am is still missing. Another indication that something is off is the fact that I am not alerted to roll over the contract if I'm still on MBTN.

All my other symbols are working perfectly just as expected. This is only on MBT and it started right after Friday's close.

Check the time zone of that chart:

Make sure it is set to, US Eastern or US Central time.

It's set to NY -5 EST like all my instances have always been set to.

Do you think copying the data files from my live instances (which aren't missing Friday's intraday data) over to my testing instances will offer a quick solution? Or will that file get overwritten by the historical library data?

I copied the MBTQ25_FUT_CME.scid file from a live instance (w/ all of Friday's intraday data) to my test instance and still nothing on Friday after 10am.

Whelp. I'm just gonna have to complete my work without Friday's data. I'm sure it will reappear when the markets open on Sunday. Hopefully whatever is causing my access to the historical data will be identified and corrected in the future. O_o (gun emoji pointing at head)

There definitively is no problem to correct on our side:
Hopefully whatever is causing my access to the historical data will be identified and corrected in the future.

Go through all of the information here:
Historical Intraday Data (Missing Data / Download Errors / Viewing More Data): Missing or Incomplete Intraday Chart Data

Check the Chart Settings:
Historical Intraday Data (Missing Data / Download Errors / Viewing More Data): Incorrect Chart and Session Times Settings

Make sure the Chart Session Times are set to include the full 24 hours.

Chart session times are correct. There would be no reason for them to be incorrect as no parameters have been changed. I run multiple instances and multiple symbols and no tick data is missing on any symbol that I use except for MBT.

I have gone through all the "Missing Data/Download Errors" suggestions in the link you provided. None have corrected my issue.

I have MANUALLY deleted all files referencing contracts MBTN25_FUT_CME and MBTQ25_FUT_CME from the /data directory for the main instance being tested. New historical data is then retrieved once I open the MBT chartbook and I am left with no tick data beyond 10:59 EST on
07/25/25 looking at a 1m chart. Historical tick data then recommences at 18:00 EST on 07/27/25.

I have tried to redownload the data at least a dozen times now. The library that holds the data I am downloading is not complete. This isn't my first rodeo with Sierra Chart as I'm sure you're aware. This is an error that appeared spontaneously, with absolutely zero variables added on my part.

I am unable to complete my analysis until I get Friday's complete intraday data. Please Advise!

Any ideas? I have yet to do a fresh install and transfer all my chartbook/config files over. I use many instances which require their own file transfers, so it's a pain. At this point it's either a corruption or...

My SC version = 2741

The problem you are having is due to a Continuous Futures Contract and our rollover settings not matching what the end of trading is for the symbol. Our symbol settings for MBT uses a rollover of "The Last Thursday of the Contract Month".

Whereas the end of trading is the Last Friday of the month:
https://www.cmegroup.com/markets/cryptocurrencies/bitcoin/micro-bitcoin.contractSpecs.html

Therefore, trading ended on Friday July 25, 2025, at 10:00am Central US time. But the rollover is not set to occur until the end of July.

We will add a new setting for Last Friday of the Contract Month.

One final note, whenever posting an image of a chart always use this method and follow it precisely:
Support Board Posting Information: Attaching or Posting a Screenshot/Image (Optional)

This would have made us understood what the problem is from the very beginning. We were misled and looking at the wrong contract month. It was the prior contract month of the chart you posted. Not the current one.

And just to be clear: MBT EXPIRES on the last Friday of each contract month. A manual rollover is best executed the day (evening?) before the final day if that helps.

"Last Friday of each contract month -1"

One last question: I switched the Chart Settings/Symbol/Continuous Contract (list) setting to "...Volume Based rollover, Back Adjusted" and the data reappeared. Is that a solid fix for now w/ MBT?

Yes, that will be fine to resolve the immediate issue.

We understand that the rollover needs to be before the actual end of trading.

I couldn't get MBT data prior to 7/2025, so I deleted and redownloaded the data and now I get trade data back where I need it, but it's not continuous. I've tried both back adjusted settings (date rule and volume). You can tell it's only MBTQ25's trades because the data is very sporadic the further you go back in history. Any help?
