I'm using the username that I gave AMP clearing, everything is good on their end, but It's not on my Sierra account. I'm good for now, I'm paper trading on my trial, but I'd like to know if this is a matter of time thing, or something that I need to fix.

What is not on your Sierra Chart account? We are not understanding the question. We do want to point that you are on a "Trial" and as such, you can not connect to data and trading services. If you want to connect Sierra Chart to your AMP account, then you need to be on one of the "Integrated" packages. Refer to the information on the packages at the following link: Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Packages To change to a paid package, follow these instructions: Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Instructions For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Gotcha, alright so I'm trying to pay for my data service using the money I've already put on my AMP account. I'm seeing plenty of options to pay for the data service outright, but I'm not trying to do that. When I go to Trade>>>Trade Account Monitor/Balances window, nothing is there. This is further confirmed by it telling me I have nothing on my account when I just try to pay for the data service. What I'm asking is, is there something that i need to do to tie my account funds at AMP over to Sierra chart, or does that just happen in a couple of days? Because right now Sierra Chart doesn't see the funds sitting over at AMP. Sorry I was trying to brief. |

What order routing service are you setup to use with your AMP account? It will be one of Teton, Rithmic, or CQG.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Although you can connect to the Teton Order Routing Service while on a trial, it is not going to work properly until you change to one of the Integrated packages. So the first thing you need to do is to select a package from the information at the following link: Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Integrated Packages Then follow the instructions at the following link to setup and pay for the package: Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Instructions Once that is done, then you need to setup the data by following these instructions (note that you can not pay for the data from another source, you must pay for it through us directly): Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges* After that you will be fine, and you will be able to view your account and balance with AMP in the "Trade >> Trade Account Monitor". "If you receive the connection error: Trade account not assigned, then this means that the trading account of yours has not been set up on this service." This is where I am now. I paid for the Base standard service on Friday. My Sierra account matches my AMP account. I set my data to Teton, and set my clearing house to AMP. I also made sure that the "allow support Sierra chart data feeds" is set to "yes". That's all it tells me to do. I get the error code above, and the FAQ tells me what it means, but not what to do about it. |

So you are getting the error message "No trade accounts assigned" when connecting to Teton order routing? Also, because you are on Service Package 3 you will be receiving delayed data only. You need to be on service package 10, and pay the exchange fee to get real-time data. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. That is correct. So can I upgrade my service package within the term of the last one? |

Yes you can easily change your Service Package but at the moment this is not the issue. See below. Contact AMP and give them your Sierra Chart username in Help >> About from within Sierra Chart and make sure it is assigned to your trading account. To change your Sierra Chart Service Package, select "Help >> Account Control Panel" on the Sierra Chart program menu. On the displayed webpage, click on the "Set Service Package for Renewal" link.
Or go to this page: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ServicesActivation You will need to login if you are not currently logged in. In the "Available Services >> Choose Usage Time Service Package" frame, select the Service Package that you want to set your account to. Press the "Set" button. The remaining service usage time on your account will be adjusted based upon the cost of the package you are changing to. If the new package is a higher-priced package, then the usage time will be reduced due to the higher price. There is no charge for changing your Sierra Chart service package. Only your Sierra Chart account usage time ending date is adjusted. When changing between Sierra Chart Service Packages, the usage time ending date on your Sierra Chart account is adjusted based upon the price differences between the package you are changing from and the package you are changing to. When changing to a higher priced package, your usage time ending date will be brought back closer in time. When changing to a lower-priced package, your usage time ending date will be brought forward further out in time. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
