HI Just curious- with AI code automation tools and advancements in GUI interfaces over 15+ years, is Sierra charts looking to upgrade its GUI interface so that tweaking/customizing is more WYSIWYG(What you see is what you get), more intutive and less time consuming/daunting -where one is not lost in going thru maze of multiple drop down menus/popups and hidden/not so obvious places to tweak things? I was wondering if SC is hiring any UI/UX designers? GUI wise, Trading View is a good place to start... For example- Today i was trying to create custom Fib retracement : Global Settings >> Tools Settings >> Retracement settings and saw the "new interface" , seems like it has gone backwards in design even from visual basic Y2K era standards.... I know the interface well by now but it always takes up too much time to tweak because of GUI- a daunting task... Over a year back i made a request about trading shortcut key multiple times - which was ignored but seems like SC would rather spend time making unfriendly GUI changes... Sorry, I have to vent out genuine concern and I know you do not like to hear it. You got a great Software but GUI needs a MASSIVE overhaul in AI era of 2025 and beyond! No hard feelings... Thank you! |

so that tweaking/customizing is more WYSIWYG(What you see is what you get) This applies to word processors and printing. Or it could apply to printing a chart, but that is that what you are referring to. where one is not lost in going thru maze of multiple drop down menus/popups and hidden/not so obvious places to tweak things?
The new settings Windows do support search functionality:Settings Windows Interface: Searching for Specific Settings Although there is no global search. . I know the interface well by now but it always takes up too much time to tweak because of GUI- a daunting task... We had an objective look at the new Price Retracement settings window, and we do see some issues/limitations compared to the previous one, that we will work on in the next several days. Most especially with the buttons that were previously on the right side to quickly switch between configurations, which now are on a separate tab or at the bottom. Also AI is a total fraud and does not exist. Nothing more than a massive con job against humanity. We will never have anything to do with that nonsense. and advancements in GUI interfaces over 15+ years, Also, software in general is in a state of utter pure deterioration at this point in time regarding efficiency, capabilities, and user interfaces. User interfaces are in decline. It is a race to the bottom. It is a race to hell. Complete utter destruction and decline. Except Sierra Chart. Sierra Chart needs improvement, and we will do that, but we will do it right.
