Dear Sierra, I'm using your data feed. One of my charts went wrong. It should be plotting 365 days of intraday data with 1 bar per day (continuous contract, backadjusted). Instead it is now only loading data since Sep8 (less than 30 days), and it is only plotting Oct1, before then it simply shows a straight line and 9:30am repeatedly (instead of prior days). Chart / Reload and Recalculate, and Data/Delete all Data and Download are not fixing the issue. I am attaching a screenshot of the chart and chart settings, as well as a chartbook containing the chart with the problem. I would appreciate your help. Thank you |

In the case of the ES, we do not recommend using a volume-based rollover. Instead use a date-based rollover. Update Sierra Chart to latest release with Help >> Download Current Version. After this make sure you follow the instructions exactly as explained here to re-download data for all the contracts in the chart: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ContinuousFuturesContractCharts.html#ReDownloading Also, there could be a study on a chart which is causing a problem. So remove those if you still see a problem. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
