Good morning.

You are dealing with "The Village Idiot"

I deleted the Data Folder Friday night.

I spent hours Saturday trying to follow your instructions to restore from the backups folder dated Friday. No luck.

I restarted the computer and surprisingly, there is the Data Folder so I opened SD and see this with Global Data Services intact and Toolbar intact: https://app.screencast.com/xPGlT3RobZDKw

As you can see all titles are "greyed out".

I have no chartbooks, the last of which are Continuous

Please tell me how to clean up the mess I have made and get what I had before fully restored.

Thank you.

The "Data" folder itself will be created when you start Sierra Chart. So the fact that the folder itself is present doesn't really mean anything. We are not understanding what you are referring to in terms of "all titles are "greyed out"".

Since you are using the data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed, you do not need to worry about the data itself that is stored in the 'Data' folder. Everything except for Market Depth data older than 60 days, will be automatically downloaded when you need it.

The other items you are need, such as Chartbooks, Study Collections, and Trade Configurations, will be in the 'Backups' folder under the main Sierra Chart installation folder. You will need to restore these items from the 'Backups' folder.

Follow these instructions to recover your chartbooks:
Chartbooks (Workspaces): Accessing a Backup Chartbook File

For Study Collections and Trade Configurations, you will need to find the files in the Backups folder and copy them to the 'Data' folder and then rename them as you want.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:
Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing
