Difficulty setting up new instance

Hi, I've been trying to set up a new instance since last night, but when I close everything down and start up again I can't seem to locate the new sub instance. I've gone into Global Settings and typed in "Yes" to run instances on start up, and I've also downloaded the latest version of Sierra Chart, but the issue hasn't resolved. I have the "Always Copy Configuration Files to New Instances When Started" set to "No". Is this correct? The info I've found on this seems to be conflicting, or I'm misunderstanding it? All I want to do is set up a sub instance so I can forward test something on sim while still trading my live account on the main instance. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks |

We think what you are wanting is to automatically start a sub-instance when you open your Sierra Chart. To do this, refer to the following: General Settings Window: Instances to Run on Startup (Global Settings >> General Settings >> General >> New Instances) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
