This thread is being started because one of the cash Forex trading services that Sierra Chart supports, FXCM, is not a practical choice for many of our users and potential users at this time. The reason for this is that FXCM has raised the minimum account requirement for FIX connections to their service to 10,000 USD. Sierra Chart uses a FIX connection to FXCM for trading. This problem has been solved by us by using a single FIX connection and common order routing. This has been released at this time for the FXCM demo trading system but not to their live trading system. This has not been released for live trading because FXCM requires a service provider agreement before we can proceed with this but their legal department has not yet drafted that agreement and the other associated requirements for entering into that agreement. We are told that there has been a lot of internal discussion at FXCM relating to this, without any resolution. This issue does not involve us but just simply internal FXCM legal matters.
