I'm seeing myself as an advanced user. I'm using SC since years. I've always had SC installed in the Program Files folder and have never had any problems. I'm running SC in an administrator account on a Windows 7 PC. Here's what I found out: I do have several instances installed in this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\_tb\trade\sc The folder names for the indivudual instances are: ...\sc\SC ...\sc\SC_AMP ...\sc\SC_FX ...\sc\SC_TELE Updating to the current Prerelease version did work with the "SC" folder/instance. It doesn't work the the "SC_..." folders. So maybe the issue that has come up with the new installer is the "_"?! Please do have another look, as my whole system is based on the described structure. |
