Post From: Delete old .scid files

Thanks for that.

Just thought I would document an observation in case other users come across the same situation, or you may want to add it to the documentation:

When cleaning up the .scid files I noticed .dly files for 3 symbols that I had no idea what they were for (CB, DY, E6).

My datafeed is TTnet via AMP and they did not match any instruments.

I did a Google search and discovered they were Barchart symbols. Given SC use Barchart for the SC datafeed I assumed the SC s/w must look to Barchart for historical data to download if the data is not currently available from the TTnet feed and/or the historical data available from TTnet does not go back far enough.

I then went to the Barchart web page (http://www.barchart.com/) and did a Ticker Symbol search and discovered those 3 symbols are Crude Brent Oil, DAX and Euro FX respectively. Given I am no longer trading any of those I chose to delete the files.

Edit: as SC point out in post below, they were .dly files not .scid files, post fixed accordingly.
