This is something we cannot change when using Update From Server. Be sure to keep a backup of GlobalSymbolSettings.XML and restore the changes when needed. As an alternative, if we add a new symbol, what you need to do is just restart Sierra Chart to get the new symbol settings and the existing settings will be preserved.
