thanks for the reply. in the based on section,i chose volume by price. under column 1 background type i chose volume profile-but the numbers bar v2 colors the main price graph and not the volume by price bars. is there a way i can color the volume by price bars? What I am trying to do can be accomplished on a regular volume study by using color bar based on alert condition and using this alert =v>40000. When I use this alert for volume by price, it does not work. I tried adding a moving average to a volume by price profile and could not do that either.
