In theory the easiest way to do it would be to have a translucent chart background on a shorter term chart and then just place it over the longer term second chart... then using the studies you might add a time line and price grid to each chart to make sure everything syncs correctly. If adding the translucent background to the chart options is an easy thing to do you might consider it---I don't know of any other charting applications that have anything like this so maybe you guys would have something different? I have used the opacity thing in Visual Basic and know it is simple. Will it make a difference? Who knows--but nothing ventured nothing gained. Thanks again, Cy ps---another cool thing---a translucent chart background might be more efficient use of screen real estate in that you could watch quotes---or a newsfeed through the chart. |
