This might have something to do with the type of pen being used. There were some changes to improve drawing performance. From what remember, we are no longer using what is called the geometric pen for the gridlines for performance reasons. Otherwise, it hurts drawing performance of charts significantly. It is not anything that we would change for performance reasons. Ultimately what you see is going to depend upon how the operating system is drawing the line.
