I rang the help desk at Infinity AT yesterday (It would have been the nightshift) when I was backing up everything else prior to killing it. I couldn't find any files to backup so I asked whoever was on the help line at the time. (Told them what I was doing). They told me that as long as I had saved everything when I exited, my charts and everything would all be there on my new system. Tim Kohn then sent me a link to re-download the program. It appears the advice was not only useless - but has now cost me at least 3 years of charts and studies I had developed. I thought it was a bit odd - but I was too stupid to double check. I thought the help desk I rang was for this charting program - but I now think it must just be my broker. And I didn't know to go to this site until I rang back after reloading and finding no charts - and I was told to go here to find out how to fix it. Disastrous outcome, can't believe how stupid I was in not investigating it more thoroughly. Thankyou for all confirming what I had feared. For future reference - can anyone tell me where I find the files that I had been looking for to back up?
