"System" would mean a problem with the operating system or hardware.

So literally for no reason at all Sierra Chart just goes into a frozen state?

Do you then have to terminate the process and restart it?

Disable any non-Microsoft antivirus/anti-malware software you have on the system. This is essential to rule those out as a cause.

When you notice this problem, go to the Windows Task Manager. What is the CPU usage of Sierra Chart?
