I'm having issues sending a trade from Sierra to IB. When I try to send the order, I get the following: Interactive Brokers | Symbol Error: Unknown symbol with ID 4957 is unknown, unavailable, or improperly formatted. | 2015-11-27 08:25:57 This occurs for: MSFT-STK-SMART/NASDAQ I think it has something to do with the naming convention. To get Apple to display in Sierra, I just have to type "aapl", and I can send orders without issues. But for Microsoft, I have to type "MSFT-STK-SMART/NASDAQ". I can see the chart but can't send orders. I think the naming convention is causing the issue. Is there a setting in Sierra or IB that I need to alter to get it work?
