I second this request with the additional user selected option to keep all sides of the triangle equal when one side is adjusted. Same with the existing rectangle and ellipse shapes allowing for perfect squares and circles on a scaled chart. It takes quite a few steps to draw equilateral sided shapes manually and difficult to move them around when drawing them with the trendline tool. I'm attaching a chart to illustrate the usefulness of properly drawn shapes when the chart scaling is correct. These requested tools would make this process faster and more efficient with less user error (which equals better trading). Just want to add that I love SC, and find it does almost everything I have ever needed. There are great geometrical tools here and it is only a few tweaks away from perfection in my opinion, so I am not complaining at all but want to voice my support when requests like these come up.
