I use a volume by price study which is reset at the start of each trading session with a maximum width of 10% of the chart. As the profile builds during the early part of the session, the profile is too narrow to be readable. Is there a way to scale the VbP study so that the maximum volume level is always at a predetermined width, regardless of how little volume has traded up to that point?
