I have similar issues for years now. When you minimize SC for say one hour, it freezes up. I could never solve it. MacPro with Parallels Desktop & Windows 7. Didn't matter whether it's a brand new Virtual Win 7 machine, or one that's being used for years. You just have to learn to live with it. I always save my chartbook before I take a break.
