Hi I'm sorry you don't understand. I've attached one of the files in question which is the Ftse100 future contract for September last. I note that when opening an intraday file, SC automatically changes state from disconnected to connected. I don't want to download data - there isn't any for an expired contract and IB return a symbol not found msg or similar. I'm interested in looking at the old data and exporting it. Hope you can help Martin
