Press = in the destination cell, then focus the source cell in the other spreadsheet and press Enter. It will look like this in the destination cell: ='[Source.scwbf]Sheet1'!$Q$3 You can then remove the $ absolute references, if needed. BTW, you cannot do this with the New Spreadsheets.
